With just one week left until the end of this historic and seemingly endless presidential campaign season, I’ve gathered 20 photos from each of the campaigns of the two major parties over the past 18 months—one last look back before it’s all over. Hillary Clinton announced her run back in April of 2015, and Donald Trump followed soon after, declaring his candidacy in June of 2015.

In this April 3, 2015, photo, intern Jessica Lis works at the Ready for Hillary super PAC offices in Arlington, Virginia, before Hillary Rodham Clinton officially announced her presidential campaign. More than a dozen people in a nondescript office building overlooking the Potomac River prepared to blast out the news by email and social media to millions of her supporters, urging them to sign onto her campaign, as soon as she announced. #
