Dramatic High-Lights at Private Schools

A great many students at Private Schools take delight in trying their hands at picturesque groupings and in amateur theatricals. Often the results are very effective.

This lovely panel is a scene from the Chronicle Play presented by the students of Westbrook Seminary and Junior College, Portland, Me.

Here is a tense moment from “The Queen’s Husband,”done by the boys at Asheville School, Asheville, N. C. with the feminine roles played convincingly.

The campus of the Westlake School for Girls, Los Angeles, Calif., offers an ideal setting for this romantic scene.

No entertainment is complete without its gymnasts and this group of girls from the Weylister School, Milford, Conn., can put on a very lively performance.
