David Brooks

David Brooks is a staff writer at The Atlantic and the author of the book How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen. He is also a columnist for The New York Times and a commentator on PBS NewsHour. He is the author of The Second Mountain and The Road to Character. He has been awarded more than 30 honorary degrees from American colleges and universities and is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He teaches at Yale.
