not to spoil anyone's fun here, but I don't think the "target" of the adulterer makes a difference:

In old English, the husband of a woman who goes to bed with another person is a cuckold. The wife of a man who goes to bed with another person is a cuckquean.

It will take some thought, but the first one that comes to mind is Rheingold, because he will definitely need a beer after what his wife did.
