Andrew A. de Castro, of Merville Park, in the Philippines, writes: "I've always wondered if there was a word to describe when one snags his or her toes while trying to slip into one's underpants -- then you have to quickly pull your foot back out before you come crashing to the floor with your underwear half on and around one knee? Do you know what I'm saying?"

Okay, now I know I've seen and heard everything...a word for a (seemingly-male) phenomenon whereby you snag your toe in your skivvies as you're pulling them on. I don't have experience, of course, with watching women pull on their unmentionables, so I have no idea whether or not they also experience this problem (volunteers for information?).
If I were to coin a word/term for this, I would say to call it "an accidental panty poke." Or, for one-word-only folks, "boxer-punts."
This string ought to be veeerrrrry interesting!

But not so often that it ever occured to me that we needed a word for it :). I like boxer-punt, btw, that's very good. So panty-punt?

But what about all of the strange things that can happen when a woman is trying to get her hose or tights on in a hurry? And you guys think you have problems :)......

Not to be gross, but don't some guys wear tights and/or hose? Just a thought...not a good one, but a thought all the same! :)

P.S. And, no, I do NOT wear either of the two garments mentioned above! Terrible knees, don't you know...:)
