As I was preparing to post this Fugitive, Greg and I batted around variations on "automatoy." That was my favorite version, thought I have to say I find it almost impossible to read that and see how to pronounce it -- auTOMatoy, like auTOMaton, which is similarly counterintuitive, at least to me.
