They are called donut holes.
If perforate were to be used as a noun, I think this is what we'd use it for.

There are some things in life, I'm afraid, that simply don't warrant a name. This "dot dot dot" stands out, exceptionally, as one of those things.
(Besides, such an expression already applies to the ellipsis.)
