Picture of the Day: Partial Solar Eclipse Over Locon, France

The first solar eclipse of the year was invisible to Americans, but Europeans had a front-row seat. The photograph above was taken in Locon, in northern France, and shows the partial eclipse taking place through a thin layer of clouds.
