On notice: Federal officials are warning local school districts not to discriminate against transgender students using restrooms. The warning comes the same week the Justice Department filed a lawsuit against North Carolina targeting HB2.

Hezbollah commander is killed: Mustafa Amine Badreddine was killed in an explosion in Syria, the Lebanese Shiite militia group said in a statement. He is charged in the killing in 2005 of Rafik Hariri, the former Lebanese prime minister. Update: More here
