by . Olympia, 75 cents. Miss Solanas, founder and only known member of the Society for Cutting Up Men, is the young woman who shot Andy Warhol. She has been locked up as mentally incompetent, and her daft diatribe against men appears with a long foreword in which her publisher attempts to justify printing this nonsense by claiming that it will contribute to the understanding of violence in our society. A check with psychiatric authority reveals that the book contains nothing unusual, given the author’s particular kind of sickness, and is of no value for understanding anything except the publisher’s desire to make some money.
