Irritant Incarnate

by GEORGIE STARBUCK GALBRAITH
HE ISN’T malicious, he isn’t evil,
But if life were oatmeal, he’d be a weevil.
If life were a shoe, he’d be a tack in it.
If life were a mirror, he’d be a crack in it.
He isn’t a brute, a rogue, or a villain,
But if life were a molar in need of fillin’,
This innocent soul, so free of depravity,
Would be a berry seed lodged in the cavity!
