BORN in Moscow, in 1901, Marya Zaturenska spent the first ten years of her life in a small Russian village. She is to-day the wife of the American poet and critic Horace Gregory, the mother of two children, and the author of two books of verse, Threshold and Hearth and Cold Morning Sky, the second of which has just been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.
