Freedom for a Girl Abducted by Boko Haram

An army statement identified the girl as Falmata Mbalala. It said she was among those rescued by troops at Baale near Damboa, in the northeast of the country, on the border with Cameroon.
But Reuters, citing a spokesman with the association of parents of missing Chibok girls, identified the girl rescued on Tuesday as Amina Ali. The BBC also identified her by that name, while CNN, which also reported that a Chibok girl had been rescued, did not name her.
Boko Haram abducted 276 girls from their school dormitories in Chibok in April 2014, but some of those abducted managed to escape. Before Wednesday’s announcement, 219 girls remained missing.
